Terms of Sale

These terms cover buying a signed book through this website. Placing an order means you accept them.

Ordering

Adding a book to your cart and completing checkout places an order. You will receive a confirmation email. An order is accepted once it has been confirmed and payment has cleared.

Orders can be declined if a book is out of stock, if a price has been listed in error, or if the order cannot be delivered to the address given. If that happens you will be told and refunded in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and include the book only. Shipping of $5 per order and, for Alabama addresses, 9% sales tax are added at checkout before you pay.

Payment is processed by Square. This site does not see or store your card number. Checkout is available without creating an account.

Signed and personalized copies

Every book is signed by hand, so no two are identical and small variations in the signature are normal. If you request an inscription to a named person, please check the spelling before ordering — an inscribed copy cannot be resold and so cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged or is the wrong book.

Shipping and returns

Delivery times, costs, and areas served are set out in the Shipping Policy. Your right to return a book and how refunds are handled are set out in the Refund and Returns Policy. Both form part of these terms.

The writing and photographs on this site

The articles, devotionals, and photographs published here are Connie Pearson’s own work and remain her property. You are welcome to link to anything on the site and to quote a short passage with credit and a link back. Republishing a whole piece, or using photographs elsewhere, needs written permission first — email theregoesconnie@gmail.com and ask. Buying a book does not transfer any rights in its contents.

Accuracy of what you read here

Travel, restaurant, and lodging posts describe places as Connie found them at the time of writing. Businesses change hands, move, and close. Please check details directly with a business before making plans around them.

Links to other sites

This site links to restaurants, hotels, attractions, booksellers, and publications. Those sites are not under Connie’s control and she is not responsible for their content or their practices.

Liability

If something goes wrong with an order, the responsibility is limited to what you paid for that order — replacing the book or refunding you. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be set aside.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published here on the day you place your order, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States.
