Refund and Returns Policy

Every book ordered here is signed by hand before it ships. Connie wants you to be happy with it — if something is wrong, say so and it will be put right.
Returns
You may return a book within 30 days of the day it arrives. To be refunded in full, it needs to come back unread and in the condition it arrived in.
Signed copies are returnable like any other book. Because each one is signed by hand, a signature is not considered damage or a defect.
Personalized copies
If you asked for a book to be inscribed to a particular person by name, it cannot be resold, so it is only returnable if it arrives damaged or is not the book you ordered. That exception does not apply to a plain signature — only to an inscription written to a named person.
Damaged in the post
If your book arrives damaged, email a photograph of it within 14 days of delivery and a replacement will be sent at no cost, or you will be refunded in full — your choice. Do not send a damaged book back before getting in touch; it usually isn’t necessary.
Wrong item, or an order that never arrives
If the wrong book arrives, the right one will be sent and return postage covered. If an order has not arrived within 14 days of dispatch, get in touch and it will be traced, replaced, or refunded.
How to start a return
Email theregoesconnie@gmail.com with your order number and what is wrong. You will receive a return address and instructions. Please do not post anything back before getting in touch — unannounced returns are difficult to match to an order and slow the refund down.
Who pays return postage
If the book is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, return postage is covered. If you simply changed your mind, return postage is yours to pay, and the original $5 shipping charge is not refunded.
Refunds
Once your return arrives and has been looked at, you will be emailed to confirm it. An approved refund goes back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days, though your bank may take a little longer to show it.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and nothing has appeared, email theregoesconnie@gmail.com.
Cancelling an order
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before they ship. Because books are signed and posted quickly, email as soon as you can.
Exchanges
The simplest way to swap one title for another is to return the first for a refund and place a new order, so the book you want is not held up.
